92 Prelude Si help!!
Im looking to pick up a prelude someones selling, he told me the problem with it is that theres no compression, so he thinks its more than likely bent valves. he said the t-belt failed originally but after he got it replaces the car no longer started.
any idea how much it would cost to fix something like this? its a sick car and its going for cheap so i really wanna pick it up but not if its gonna cost me an arm and a leg to fix
thanks in advance

You can try to find an h23 head for cheap on here or maybe ebay.
If you can do the labor yourself then you could probably get everyhting done fairly
cheap.
It just depends on your budget.

It would probably be cheaper to buy an H23 head as to have the valve work done. They go pretty cheap, especially if you find someone that converted to the H22 head. I'd sell you mine, but it's cracked; would make a nice yard ornament or door prop if you're interested....
Whichever way you go, take it to an auto machine shop and have it tested before you put it on the car (~$30 is what it cost me) so you know it's good.
Like SKDRCR said, honda-tech marketplace and ebay are about your best shot.
