so we were going to go skydiving and we were late so i was doing 110 down the free way, then my car made a funny noise and now it has some problems. When it "idles" it either dies right away or drops down to all most dead, then up to 1500rpm. the engine lacks major power, it feels like its going to die if im under 3000rpm and takes for ever to accelerate. It backfires constantly. Thats all the symptoms that i can think of for now.

We were thinking it could be the O2 sensor or the timing belt slipped. I did a tune up about 4 months ago so i don't think its the cap/rotor.
