HELP! Exhaust leaking like crazy? Please help w/ flange gasket
Alright I just swapped a B20 into my '88 CRX Si. I pulled the engine out a running '93 Integra. I'm guessing they re-used the exhuast manifold and downpipe because it's so damn rusty. My problem is everytime I give it anything more maybe 10% throttle the engie doesn't respond. If I floor it and hold it the engine just dies. I went to AutoZone, Adnvace Auto Parts and a bunch of other parts stores. They gave me this:

Me and another guy tried reusing a gasket from some other car but it really ain't working out to well:
I originally though it should look more like this one:
Pardon my drawing, brought to you courtesy of Windows paint.
Can anyone tell me if I'm using the right gasket? Or if the problem is probably coming from some where else? I have all my vacuum lines hooked up except for the fact that I have no intake. Could that be it, i really don't know. Please help.
Oh yeah, I'm under the impression since I see what "looks" like two gaskets on top of the downppipe that I need of two. The reason I only have one is because it's the only one i this ******* town. Here's a pic of a header I saw online. I can't tell if it's for a B16 or B18, if it even makes a difference.

it honestly sounds like you have more of a problem than a simple exhaust leak. an exhaust leak shouldn't cause the car to shut off -- it'll just make an annoying noise.
I thought about fuel since it was sitting for almost 5 months. I added some 93 octane gas (7 gallons) to fill the tank. And I added 2 bottles of octane booster. I wish I though about draining the fuel earlier.
I changed the fuel filter right before I drove it for the last time at the end of May but who knows. It's a cheap and fast replacement so I'll try that tommorow.
