Default 96 Accord LX 4 cyl - Timing belt changed - Getting whistling noise

Timing belt, balancer belt, drive belt changed last month at 105000 miles. Had new water pump installed.

Did 3000 miles after belts installation. Noticing these problems:
(1) Engine seems to whistle when I am doing over 40 miles/hour
(2) Enging pinging when accelerating from 40mph to 50mph at 2200 RPM

Meineke tried but couldn't fix/figure out the root cause.

Please let me know what may be wrong.

For serious stuff like that, I would only go to the Honda dealer for work.

u don't have to go to a HONDA DEALER for anything except warranty work,,,,there are a lot of indipendent shops that specialize on HONDAS that do the job better than the DEALER and CHEAPER and still use HONDA parts ........
