American X Brazilian 2002 Civic CD Player. Is it the same?
Hello all,
I´m writing from Brazil, and I have recently purchased a 2002 LX Sedan Civic, made in Brazil.
I intend to make no mods in the car (I like it stock, my "tuner" phase is gone, I´m too old for that stuff). However, I found something very interesting in Crutchfield.com, which is a kit to connect an iPod into the Civic stock audio system and control it like it was a CD Changer.
Looking at my Civic CD player, I found out that it was manufactured by Clarion in Mexico.
Here´s a picture of the front of the CD Player (it´s not mine, but it´s the same model):

I unfortunately have no pics of the rear section of the CD player, but I ask you if the Brazilian Civic 2002 CD Player is the same as the American Civic 2002 CD Player. Being manufactured in Mexico (the CD), I believe it´s the same.
If any of you took out the stock CD and locked it in the closet, could you post me a picture of the back of the player so that I can make a comparison?
Thank you all for your help,
Bira
