Hey, Ive never gotten a compression test done on my motor, and im going for one tomorrow, because i plan on boosting real soon. I did some searching, and people with the same motor (D16z6) were making 185 across all four. Others i saw, were making 200-210? Does it depend on the mods done and/or amount of mileage on the motor? Thank you all in advance

just make sure that it reads the same all the way accross. well, it could be 5 PSI off from each other.

i would also like to know, i mean could you read 70 all the way across and still be good?

Most people i see have around 170-180

 

well 70 would be COLD motor. warmed up would be between 170-200.
