Does having a Rear upper tie bar really make a difference on a Type-R?

 

I just installed a oem one this weekend can't really tell the difference though but it looks good. I decided to remove the awful boot carpet that slides around all the time. BTW the OEM ITR rear tower bar is now back in stock.

 

I would say yes...It makes a noticable difference but only if you drive your R hard. At slower speeds you will not even now it is there but take a corner hard and fast and you will tell the difference!
