What We Know: There appears to be little justification behind recent speculation that Acura would be phasing this small coupe out of production, as the company plans a redesign of the vehicle which could appear on the market as early as 2006. The 2007 RSX will be fully redesigned on its current chassis, which will probably be tweaked in lieu of a replacement. The vehicle will get all-new sheet metal and possibly a revised cabin. Hopefully, Acura will do something to upgrade the vehicle's 2.0-liter inline four as well.

I tend not to get too excited by rumors and just wait for the actual car to arrive or to be released in other markets....

But that's just me....

It would be a pleasant surprise. I just dont understand why Honda wont bring back a type R in the US. I was at the Honda dealer yesterday, I saw the new Civic, with NAVI!!! A Civic with Navi, who would have thought that? I could pay $21K+ for a Civic with navi, but cant get an ITR or CTR????

I think that this does not have much to do with the DC2 ITR, which is the focus of this forum.
