is there supposed to be a flange between the end of the header and the cat? am i supposed to just use some silicone or liquid gasket? mine didn't have one for some reason. and when i installed a header, i'm getting serious exhaust leakage. you can hear/feel the air from between the 2. any ideas of what to do...

 

dude, there's no way silicone would stand up to those temps lol. I believe what you're missing is a ring gasket that mounts at the end of the header. hit up vatozone, they prolly have one for you
