manual locks to power locks dilemna

i just changed my 94 civic 4dr manual locks to pwer locks. but the drivers door still has the safety thing on it. the thing where u have pull the door handle to lock or unlock the driver door. how would i go about removing this safety.?????

The Civics with power door locks have that. It's not a problem because the door is closed when locking/unlocking.

Exactly. You don't need to lock your doors with them open do you? =P
