Default brake question

i have an 88 civic dx and i am converting the rear 2 disks from a 94 gsr. can i use the stock spindles from the dx or do i have to use the gsr spindles. the reason i am asking is the torx screws holding the spindle in place are stripped on the gsr and dont want to have to drill them out. thanx for the help.
