Fake..........

This is what the real one looks like:

These are the fakes:

The least you could have done was make the stitching more authentic.

Exactly what elephategra said!

To verbol assassin-

The original poster wanted to know what the difference is between the USDM GSR and Type R seats and you show pictures of JDM recaros

And his seats are more then likely REAL Recaros. There are knock off Recaros though!

http://www.recaro-nao.com/INDEX_FRAMES_NS.HTML

His seats are under the section that says "car seats"

then click "after market"

then click on "RECARO speed 4-point harness"

Then click on "BLACK AVUS/RED" in the box.

It is what the JDM seats were based on but with a smaller logo!

The only difference between the USDM Type R seats and GSR seats is the materiel that is on them. GSR has all leather. Type R is Alcantra with Tweed & red stitching. Same seat design/padding and what not. The big difference is when you look at the JDM type R seats. They are basically Recaro speed 4 seats with Alcantra/tweed/red stitching. Essentially what you have now, just a different material.
