ZC question?

I ordered a 88-91si distributer cap and rotor. When I got the cap it didn't match up to the original. The notch by the bottom screw is off by like .5cm. If I cut it a little, will it work just the same? I need to know before I crank it over. Please help! Thanks.

I've heard of it being done alright but i have not tried it myself.... i believe that you have to dremel one of the holes that the dist twists on (pretty much like you said essentially)

Yes you can do it, I had the same problem just cut an extra notch where it needed to be with an exacto knife, or you can use something very sharp. No worries it will work.

He is totally right! I did the same thing to make mine work. Its been over 6 months and no problems with it!
