i found it, lots of searching lol:
http://order.waytekwire.com/CG...7+ENG
and
https://www.wirecare.com/wirec...ne=ES
should turn out nice, i am also running bulkhead connectors so if i need to pull the engine all i have to do is unplug like 5 connections, much easier

I get my stuff from waytek!
Where are you getting the bulkhead connector from? How are you dealing with crimping the pins on the end of the wire?
I pulled my harness inside of the cabin and plan on putting a bulkhead connector low on the firewall and running the wires from there.

i still havent decided which brand i am going with but i have a pin crimper, i just shelled out the cash for it (34.99) it should make things real easy, i'm going to see if i can get 1 or bulk head connections instead of 5 or more so its a matter of seconds to pull the engine if i need too (other than the axles)
but i am probably going to go with some connectors from:

Im gonna keep in touch with you, im looking to do the exact same thing.
If you wanna use one connector you will need like a 50 pin connector lol.
The harness on the driver side has two sheilded cables, with three conductors in one and one conductor in the other... how are you dealing with those? Also neither side (driver or passenger) has all the same gauge wire, especially the driver side. Have you found a connector that has varying pins on them?
I interned at NASA this summer I might hafta take a short ride back there and see if they have anymore goodies they wanna gimme
edit - also, did you see this thread?
https://honda-tech.com/zero...ge=25
Id search through it for brand names but im tired and have a test tomorrow

Stainless steel lines are dangerous they show no signs of wear because of the stainless steel. Unless there Dot spec .
Not even Ferrari uses SS lines on there oem stuff.
Run hard line everywhere you can.

the shielded wires just need ot be grounded at one end, its not to hard dealing with them, if worst comes to worst i'll replace the entire wire with a new shielded one and put new pins on it. as for the different guage wiring, i was thinking the same thing, thats why i was originally gunna go with more than 2 bulkhead connectors, i believe some of the connectors can accomodate different gauge ranges like 20-24 and so forth i gotta look into it still

i'm gunna get teh expanding nylon stuff so i can get bulk of a smaller size and just have it stretch over, can anyone find the pic of the harness the guy on here makes with this stuff? it looked awesome but i cant find it for the life of me
as for thosebulkhead connectors those are real nice i might invest in some of them, get teh 24-61 connector, does anyone know how many wires are on the stock harness going to the engine bay?

45 wires for the main engine harness, varying gauges but 2 wires are ~ 12ga for the fuel injectors, mostly 18-20 ga
17 on the driver side (including the wire for brake fluid level) and 28 on the passenger side (3 wires for dizzy shielded, and one wire for TDC sensor shielded)

yup went and spent some cash on new connectors and dr-25 shrink wrap because i know its the best stuff, and then i am going to cover that with that wire loom nylon stuff
would you mind posting some part numbers or PM me with them please? Im curious as to which ones you decided to go with, and how many. did you buy the crimper also?

yea i'll send those over, the stock harness is such a cluster ****, so much extra wire et cetera et cetera. When i took the old electrical tape and wire loom off the harness today, there was water inside
, i'm hoping this wont happen again with the new stuff...
i might go this route now that i think about it...

thanks donut

No sense really in doing that. Besides, DR-25 will get you more props in here than the wire loom.
Check out the rewiring thread at the top of the forum too. I intended for it to be about wiring up a race car, but its kind of turned into a "OMG mad JDM wire tuck y0!" show car thread.

welli want it to look nice but be more functional and easier to trouble shoot wiring/electrical issues, and personally i dont like the way the dr-25 looks, and much prefer the woven nylon, but i know the raychem stuff is of course better so i will use both lol, and as for the thread at the top i read the entire thing, the first 4-5 pages were very informative with lots of great links, after that the vw bays came in blah blah lol. Like i said i dont want anything super crazy, just really functional and i wouldnt mind it looking good too
