Default Success to install JDM DB8 4dr type-r cf window switch no any modification with pics

I have successed to install this jdm type r 4dr cf swtich with type r door panels

I have changed all the switch wires (16-pin) to other way. Now all the switches can work directly, only the front windows buttons are changed side. (because the auto button at right hand side). It also has driver side's window auto up & down. (before 95 only has auto down)

Thanks all the guys. EnjoyTheRideDC2, ajantics, Naruto

Looks good tkycgo!

And ITR panels are black. The glare from the flash would make it seem otherwise

why not just get one of those dash dressup kits in cf? they cover the doorhandles and switchs n such.

I mean, if all you goin for is looks, i would think that faux cf would rub off after a while.

Good work tho on the DIY

It's because I don't clear the quality of dressup kits and a little bit expensive in ebay.

If I can intall the oem jdm parts, the difference with dressup kits is that it's real oem jdm look. That's my purpose. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by turbotime &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">why not just get one of those dash dressup kits in cf? they cover the doorhandles and switchs n such.

The OEM parts are just overlays. You do know it's not real CF right? just a graphic...

ummm....not for the power window switches they didn't. The JDM ITRs had all faux cf trims as the USDM ITRs did, BUT.....the JDM ITRs also had the faux cf trim for the power window switch covers that the USDM ITRs did NOT come with. It wasn't even an option for the USDM ITRs.

A simple look at http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org will show you that all they had were the black power window switch covers. Go to: Model = Integra, Year = 2000 or 2001, Trim Level = 3Dr Type R, then KA5MT, then "Door Lining"

Part that's illustrated are #6 and 5. Though...only part # 5 is listed and its coded NH167L....meaning, its black. all the faux cf parts for the ITR are listed as TCARBON.

it won't fit without modification. And if you're not careful with that modification, you're going to mess up the trim.
