hi everyone! i just purchased a 91 accord and i am haivng some problems.
after 20 mins of driving the car chugs, and chugs good, after about 20 30 seconds of this the check engine light comes on and it clears out (runs normal) it is like clock work. i work 25 min from home and i can almost pin point when it is about to chug. i have worked at a garage for about two years but we do not have many imports here. is there a way to diagnostic scan this car? can not find the plug in, and i wish i could get some codes. any info would be GREATLY appreciated! thank you in advance!
oh ya it only chugs under load, if i push in the clutch while its chugging its fine?!!

You have to jump the service check connector under the right side of the dash and count the blinks of the cel.

 

The CEL flash code will be helpful, no doubt

thanx guys, do you have any idea on what it could be? egr, o2 sensor? and how do i know what the blinks are telling me, i do not have the owners manual. thanks again
