So.... I finally got an RSX Type S
I'm sure a couple of you remember me posting here about im gettin a type s soon.. Well, I got it :].. Its an early 02.. Which, I know.. I prone to tranny problems.. Suprisingly it has 63k with no tranny problems at all.. It came with Mugen Front and Rear strut bars, a DC sport rear camber kit and an Intake.
My future plans are are Eibach Sportline springs, RS*R EX MAG Exhaust, and im undecided on the header.. I was a nice header. I also plan on snatching a Hondata setup..
Heres my question.. Currently. I have a VAFC-2 sitting in my room.. I happend to notice the Vtec crossover in the Type S is around 5800 RPM... Would it be wise to hook up the VAFC-2 and set the valve timing to around 5200? Also, where can I get an ECU pinout for a Kseries OBD2B ECU?

Sell the vafc-2 and get either hondata #4 or K-pro. There is limited managebility with the vafc, and most who have used it on the k-series have seen little to no gains.
The Vafc-2 will work fine, i have mine kicking in at 4500 at the track that way when i spray vtec is kicked in. but get it tuned CORRECTLY or u will not get it kicking in when u want it to.
Ditch the VAFC, save some money and get the Hondata K-Pro. As far as a header I would go with the DC Sports Race header, great gains for its price. Good luck.
