Default good deal or what?

my girlfriends brother just bought a 1992 prelude (*silver) with an injen intake KYB AGX struts with unknown (to me) coilovers, leather interior (ok shape) altezza lights, and it has 150k and it's automatic. new throttle body, front brakes, and he paid 2800. i told him it was a good deal but he still feels uneasy about it. tell me what you think so i can show him what other people think. i'll post pics later if you need them. oh, the guy also threw in a set of 16" 12 spoke rims with some yokohama tires (not sure which ones with about 75% tread left

Depending on the shape of the car, IMO I think it is a good deal...I have seen 94 Si's at car lots and they are going for 4500 with 145k miles.

shouldn't you be asking this before you buy?

I bought my 93 Vtec w/ 136K miles, perfect interior, some rust on exterior and I paid $3,000 for it. So, yeah it's a good deal as long as runs good....

well the whoel point of this was to further prove to him that it was worth it. i knew it was and i did check kbb.com. it was about 3200 on kbb plus the suspension and rims/tires/intake, so that would probably drive it up a grand at least. just wanted to show my friend that other people think it's a good deal and he didn't get ripped off. i mean... ****, i wish i had some kYB AGX's

he wanted an automatic... he's not very coordinated... if he ever wants to swap to manual i have a transmission and linkage he can use. all he'd need besides that would be a 5-spd ecu right?
