Default Integra detailing

Its always best to get ideas from fellow Integra owners and since we have so many people on this board im sure people have some great ideas out there.

I recently just got new tires and was wondering how to clean them, not just layering them with tons of crap like armor all, black magic and stuff like that

How about cleaning the floormats?
Do you take them out and wash them or simply use the spray can stuff?

Dashboard and other vinyl stuff like the side doors- Any specific cleaners?

Windows-I like using newspapers

Seats-best leather cleaner? I like Lexol

Carpet-any good smelling deodorizers?

You guys get the idea, let em roll

For wheels I like Aerospace 303. It has UV protection, and doesn't have any silicone based oils which are damaging to rubber.

It also doesn't have the rediculess shine that most wheel dressings have, it is more of a rich matte look.

To clean them I use a scrub brush and some simple green. Tire need much stronger detergent than paint.

I don't have a teg but I can give you a few ideas

tires and rims - Believe it or not your probably gonna have heart failure but I use Dawn Dish soap , and a soft sponge . soap breaks down all the oil , brake dust and grime really welll and takes off the old dressing you had on the rubber , so you have a clean surface to reapply dressing

For interior I just wipe down my dash with a damn cloth to clean off dust and so on , But every two months or so I use Meguiers stuff that comes in a red bottle and a black sprayer (will get the name from the garage , too lazy to get up now)

Exterior Paint I just Megeuirs Pink Wash gell , Great suds and leaves paint clear of surface contaminates , then follow up with a monthly regiment of Megeuirs Gold Class and a yearly high speed buffing

for carpeting and so on . I use either dawn dish soap or Laundry detergent for oil stains and so on . For deodorizing , I use fabreeze , seal all windows and sunroof , turn AC to Max and recuirculate . Spray febreeze like mad at the interior with the ac on and car running(so Ac is engaged and producing cold air in recurc)
afterwards open doors and sunroof to vent excess febreeze , then put in your favorite air freshener .

Hope this helps some

20/20 Glass cleaner + Newspaper = Clearest windows EVER

The Absorber = Works wonders for drying, no streaks and holds a ton of water

Back to Black = Makes your black plastic moldings look really great and won't discolor them (Not sure about an Integra, but my Accord has'em on the bottom)

To get tires shiny I use Meguiars tire shine. It works great and lasts forever. To clean the floormats just take it to a local do-it yourself car-wash and hang the mats on the wall and spray them down with high pressure soap, then rinse clean with water. Let em sit in the sun for a few hours to dry out then vaccuum the carpet using some carpet fresh or somethin. Smells great!

To clean the dash and the seats, I was told by the dealership not to use Armor All on the leather and dash and to use strictly leather lceaning products. I got some stuff from the Dealership that they give you at delivery and it works awesome and smell fuggin great. I only have to apply it once every three months or so.
