Default Cat Back Exhaust???

I am going to need to replace the exhaust from the cat back in the near future and I want it to breath a little better than stock. I was thinking of getting the flowmaster axle back system and having a muffler shop replace the pipe from the cat to the muffler pipe. Should I elimanate the resonator and just run straight pipe to the muffler or is that going to be obnoxiously loud. I want to be able to drive the car without drawing too much attention to myself.

i had a 93 civic with a catback system and i had them bypass putting on a resonator, and it was obnoxiously loud. i'm currently running a greddy evo 2 on my 99 civic and it is perfect, great sound and not loud at all. so in my opinion stick with the resonator.

yeah keep a resonator. They are free flowing, unrestrictive, and reduce raspiness.
