Timing belt cover removal...arg!!!
Hi guys, how I am supposed to remove the timing belt cover? Do I need to remove the crankshaft pulley? I hope there is another way. I am in a swap right now and I need to put my 91 left engine mount on the 92 motor. Therefore I need to remove the timing belt cover to have access to the mount bolts.
Thanks

That's pretty much what I did. I cut a whole in the cover of the old engine, but when through the hassle of removing the crankshaft pulley of the new engine. I'm putting in a D16Z6 for those that asked.

DUDE, just take pulley off! its the only way. cutting it will leave plastic shavings in the cover and it could fug your timing belt up eventually. just do it right!
