hi my brother has a j spec b16a2 in a 94 ex coup and we tried to install the stock p28 ecu in it , it started smoking so we removed it quick... found out it got burned ofcourse ... not knowing what the problem is we went and got a chipped ecu and that got burned as welll ..the thing is i put a chipped type r ecu in it before and nothing really happened .... has this happened to you!?

 

Sounds like a short somewhere in your wiring harness.
