as topic stated...what type of LSD is in the JDM s20 transmission that came from the jdm d15b...that is the D-series trannY for those who dont know...

is it clutch type, gear type or even spring type...i know there are some others but for those of you who have owned one or opened one up what type of lsd is it??

 

more than likely its a gear type....because the tranny uses honda mtf......knowing for a fact that if it was a clutch type then it would have needed special tranny fluid. btw how did u get ahold of one.....took me a yr to find mine....but its well worth the wait especially when paying 300 for it

 

haha..yeah, i got mine from a member here on h-t b/c he changed over to the B-series motors...
