bb4 h23 questions

bb4 h23 questions
i own a 92 bb4 si h23, i have a couple questions first, i am gonna turbocharge it, i am buying mahle h22 pistons, do i have to buy h22 rods??? second does anyone make a supercharger for the h23??? third i heard that the h23 is equivelant to the b18b is this true, and are there anyparts interchangeable????? and last does anyone know where to find real facts about jdm ludes???? sorry for all the questions, but i bought the lude because i was sick of seeing b series motors everywhere

Technically the BB4 had the H22, the Si is a BB2, but no biggie.
As for your question, alot of people will discourage you to buy the Mahle pistons for a lack of information provided on them(still in the research and development stages) I personally have heard of people running them for 60k+ miles, so that is up to you. (someone needs to be the guiniae pig) as for the rods, thats another thing you may what do some searching on that, there have been problems with clearance on stock spec. rods. As for the B18 question, I have never heard that.
Do a little research and you can figure anything out, there is a lot of good information located in the archives.
If you decide to go with the Mahle Pistons, keep us posted.

No superchargers (turbo that SOB!), H23 is only equivelant in that it has no VTEC (larger and different series of motor entirely), and check the FAQS for facts and specs.
FYI, I do have B-series cam gears on my H23 and I believe the valve springs and retainers may be the same.
