95 ls to Gsr swap not cranking over. What to check for?
I just got done swapping a gsr engine into my ls. When I turn the key to start the engine i only get clicking sound. What are some things I can check for?
:edit:

check the battery first.... then check that the main wire off the battery is connected to the starter and then the smaller 12 volt signal wire is connected to the small terminal on the starter...make sure you have the ground cable connected to the tranny
Make sure tha battery is fully charged and that all of the engine grounds are on the motor. Sometimes people forget to ground the wiring harness to the thermostat with the 10 mm bolt. Also check if the motor has the other 2 ground wires.

im aware of the ground on top of the tranny and the one that goes to the valve cover. is there another one?

It is on the engine at the end of the lower radiator hose. On the top of that housing there should be a 10 mm bolt bolted to the engine harnesses ground wires. Good Luck
