I cant see the graph to well, very small...and their is a type r forum ya know. But anyways, nice setup, just work on getting that exhaust system for a little better flow over the stock type r even though it is a great stock exhaust .. nice red line by the way

well, i think you need to go back and tune some more... if you look at that huge dip befor vtec kicks in you CAN fix that with a little timing and fuel control thrown in there. over all not a bad graph. and your still making power to 9300 but i dont think you wanna readline to 9300k thats like 9,300,000 rpm lol and thats alot. but 9300 is even a lil much on a stock bottom, being itr or not. its a lil excessive but ur makin the power. no telling how long it'll last on stock bottom tho. tq doesnt seem to drop off that much later on, so thats nice.

i would go back and retune it for the vtec crossover point and set it up so its a bit smoother instead of up down then way up. maybe up then up up up! lol. over all nice plot given you tuned it yourself and all.

my advice is get the headers/exhaust system taken car of and do it again! Good Luck

That is a HUUUUUUUGE dip, looks like your v-tec engagement is way off. Take it to a tuner who knows what they are doing!

Weird setup having a "fully built head by crowner" with stock cams and stock exhaust.....?!?
That make any sense?

numbers dont really match up
200+whp 160wtq on a 1.8 is seomthing i have never seen before expically with ctr cams which also should not peak so high 8700rpm
and theres a huge dip. vtec cross over is all messed up

hehe, i know what i'm doing, i've been tuning for about 3 years now, i just wanted to post my upcoming with this new tuning method i got going on, vtec engagment is right where it needs to be, 5288, fully built head is by crower, only thing not crower are the cams, which are CTR and gears which are ITR, i have crower Stage 2's goin in on the motor..i choose not to put them in, and believe me i know what i'm doing...car goes 14.0 at 104.

is 28* of advanced timing right? Or is that what it needs to be to have any kind of on-time firing at 9k+ rpms?

worst dyno graph, i guess you retarded monkeys failed to realize there is a lost of power on any kind of money with a manifold change, there's a huge dip in my dyno cause of the skunk2 manifold on my itr, the power i can't help, i've done EVERYTHING KIDS....advanced it so much it starts to knock, retarded it slow, i added fuel, i'm burning str8 at 12.9 AFR...do not tell me i dont know wha ti'm doing, nor is it the worst dyno ever, cause every motor is different that dyno stats my motor makes 220whp and 160+ of torque thats all mother fucken motor you stupid *****...so stfu if you dont have anything positive to say about my work.. i got alot invested into that motor and have done the research and spent my time street / dyno tuning.. i put this god damn car together.. and believe me if you know anything about tuning its stated you will have two HUMPS of power in a graph u fucken little ******.

it fires fine all threw the rpm band with 28 degress advanced in the igition, i might add more, but it runs smooth with it.. the dizzy is set at 18 degrees, on the ECU i have the igition up by 28 degrees, just cause i rev high doesn't mean its not firing or making power.. the ITR motor stock is compiable of handling 9100k fine on stock timing, with the cams i have no, and the high lope i'm making more then enough power for 9300k, i have reved this car to 9500k once with no problem..

know what would have been better in the graph... freeing up some horse power by getting an aftermarket exhaust. Nice set up..I want to rev 9k some day. LOL

Graph isn't down, honda-acura.net isn't allowing it to be hosted here, if u want to see it, log on honda-acura.net and find my "integratype-r" garage.

Nice powers. But please tell me how you know you set VTEC at the perfect spot. Ther's only 1 proper way to find out where to set it, I'm hoping it's the way you did it.

And just to clear it up for everybody that is wondering. it's 28 degrees total timing advance, not base. I'm curios tho, is this 28degree timnig via your IGN maps in whatever EMS you are using? If so, did you modify your base timing settigns in the program? if not, you're acutally at 30 degrees then.

14.0 flat is a decent time.. my friend in a DC2 RS gutted with stock everything B20 with Crane stage 3 cams(equiv to Crower 403s) + cam gears runs 14.3 at 98mph with 2.1 60's. what are your 60's?

Okay I think I answered my quesiton:

If you're still gonig by:

"i set vtec really high, and tune my low cam which is what i've done and it seems to drop off around 5100 sometimes others about 5500, then i enable vtec around where my low cam drops off and tune my high cam" quoted from you on honda-acura.net, that is completely wrong.

Before you go asking, no I don't think yuo are stupid and don't know what yuo are doing, I'm jsut crurious in the areas I have asked that's all.

Well first off.. the car has gone 14.1 and 14.0 at about 101 -102.. my 60's ranged from 2.0 to 2.2 some nights are goods, other bad.. car has seen very bad nights, 15+ and other's have seen great, i scored a 14.0 at 104 in this car with a 2.3 60' one night...luck tho anyway, I do tune without vtec i tune the entire map, all the way to 8 , no reason to tune to 9 on low cam, my low cam quits making power around 5.5kish...My setting vtec now was pretty easy, i'd engage vtec at 3000, and tune the whole vtec map to 9300k.. The vtec map was pretty evenly based out, it really made its power at 6+..and it held its power to 9.. the car engaged's it smooth i study the maps for a good few hours in comparsion before i actually set my vtec.. it was set at 5400, i reset it to 5200 last night, or if u wanna be techincal 5234rpms.. The vtec "kick" is there but it pulls instantly, there's no jerk into vtec and no "kick back" like MAD VTEC POWER YO.. As for timing, My dizzy is set on 18 degrees, Alittle advanced if ur looking at 16 degrees stock, As for the igition map i do have alittle bit too much timing on the bottem end, which from 1.5k to 5 i'm running a full out amount of 28 degrees in igition timing, from 5200k - 9300 i'm running around 21-25 degress, I'm thinking of bring it back cause i do here little tinks every now and then, when the car is cold and run cold, after it warms up it goes away.. Anyway, The way i tuned was basically like that, The igition tuning was little bit more infoed like, so, when advancing it i'd set my low cam to shoot for 12.9 AFR.. if i advanced the timing it ate more gas, Hint i was gaining power, so i can kept advancing it till i heard a ting, or until the car started running rich, when i reached that power, i there had found the igiton setup, same with the vtec map.. been doing it along time and i understand alot of people's question of my methods, my buddy and i have worked really hard on this car for over a year now with 20394 different tunes.. and have learned the best from each of those, In louisiana, alot of people dont like me cause i've had to learn things the hard way and for a turbo car boosting 17psi to get drug by some all motor honda from a 20 punch ...they really dont like me, and the fact that i was a ******* in the beginning but i live and learn and still am learning my stage 2's go in i'll be set...
