how do you reset the maintenance required light for a 98 accord?

how do you reset the maintenance required light for a 98 accord?
i was told there is a little trick to resetting the maintenance required light on my 98 accord sedan... i don't know what's up with the lights... had both the engine check and maintenance required light on... check engine was on for like a month and mysteriously went out today... but this past weekend driving down to maryland hauling *** my maintenance required came on and has stayed on ever since...

yeah if you hold down the mileage counter (trip computer) button for 10 seconds with key in the "ON" position, and and then start your engine, the light will go away.
