I wuz thinkin bout going real custom and lookin for a local with a mandrel bender when I found Thermal's 3" "Turbo" product line. I don't have turbo now, but will some day. Wuz wondering if anyone out there has this system (B137-C137) in their CRX and...
1) How does it perform?
2) Good quality?
3) How much mod is ness to run it without a cat?
4) Where did you find the cheapest price?

BTW: I have a DC Sports 4-2-1 header this will be bolted up to, if that makes a difference.

I love thermal exhausts, quality ****..... BUT the one problem I have with them, is every single one I've heard without a cat, or with a gutted cat, gets a raspy nasty tone @ high RPMs.......

 

...that's kewl, I don't really care bout tone as long as I'm out in front.

 

Hehehehe...I have the regular 2.25 inch catback and I was running a gutted cat for awhile and it was raspy as heck on the top end. Otherwise their products are quality.

because now I have a hotshot header and it has a 3" collector pipe so now I had to reduce the header damn
go for it man 3" all the way
and the sound is sweet on the dyno waw its a screaming bich
you WILL love it

i love my thermal...on my old civic hatch(no gutted cat) sounded deep and nasty, on my new civic (gutted cat) sounds like a nasty lawnmower, and when i get into vtec omfg its louder than ****...it sucks...but i still like em...

 

I've got the thermal 2.5" on mine also w/a test pipe, and it got raspy, but I still like how it's quieter than other exhausts.

 

i have the Thermal on my 91 Si....Catco cat...it sounds sweet...not raspy...not at ALL. not too loud, not too soft...perfect tone. i can still hear my radio on the highway!!!!! but when you stomp it, it growls nicely
