Please check out the thread/link below. I 'll be doing a valve adjustment on the car in a week or so. This is still my commuter car and I drive it daily. It 's in excellent running condition with absolutely no mechanical problems and burns no oil whatsover. E-mail me if you need more info and are serious. If you 're not, please don't. vtecharry@yahoo.com

bump:
Car is in great shape mechanically. Dings are very small, not noticeable from a few feet away.
Has brand new Brembo rotors and Axxis Ultimates.
Timing belt replaced at 99k mi. (not due again till 195k) along with all belts.
NGK platinum plugs (comes with Denso platinum stock) installed at 100k mi.
Valve clearance adjusted at 85k but I 'll do another one in a few days.
Oil changed every 3k-3500 mi. with Castrol GTX with Honda oil filters, always.
Fresh Honda MTF, and brake fluid a few mos ago. Air filter changed every 30k mi. regardless.
Had Dealer replace front shocks at 99,800 (under ext. warranty). They also installed new alternator at the same time which was whinny.
Clutch is fine. This is an all highway miles car. I don't shift or brake often. No accidents except for the moron that hit my car on the rear right corner of the bumper (bumper is not damaged, just the plastic cover in the corner and the side rear fender which is part of the bumper cover). Motor is in almost perfect condition. Does NOT burn oil. Car has never been drag raced, auto-xed, etc.
No mods on the car. This is not like a '92-00 Civic. This car pulls up hill on the highway in 5th gear with no problem. No need to downshift like I always did with my '97. This is my 3d Civic. g7 Civics are torqier and faster but you should probably be buying this car for its excellent gas mileage and reliability, plus it's a good looking coupe (I think).
If I replace the rear bumper cover and/or install a used hood/trunk lid I 'll be asking over $6K. Kelley Blue Book private sale says in good/excellent condition this car is worth $6690/7380! Right now I subtracted $1500 from fair condition which is $5810 (in my zip code). If I replace the dinged parts of the car (minus the part of the roof) I 'll be asking the "good" condition price above or close to it. So in essence I 'm dicounting the car $2400 or 36%. I think this is a pretty good deal. I 've seen '92 Civics with 30k more go for as much as my car. This is a late 2001. I bought it in August '01 and it was built in July '01. Did I say the car has decent handling? This comes from a guy (me) who has Double-Adjustable Advance Design race shock (true) coilovers (threaded shock body) with 600/750lb springs on his GSR with a Quaife LSD, poly bushings, etc.
