should i go with the cams on my motor??
I was thinking about getting ITR cams for my car.... i was wondering if this is worthwhile as my motor is not really young
90,000km's now (about 55000 miles).
would it be worth it?
or should i be looking for a new motor soon?

Unless it has been run hard and put away wet, the car has many more miles to go. Get the cams if you are in the market for them and have a setup that can take advantage of them.

Man, 90,000 km is f*ck all; hell I'm homing in on 100,000 km and mine's a 98, and wouldn't hesitate sticking good cams in there. Now, I would have to recommend a good synthetic oil (such as Mobil 1, Amsoil) to keep your engine strong as long as possible, but aside from that it should last for much longer with new cams in there without burning too much oil, and with good compression.
55,000 miles is barely broken in on a well taken care of honda motor. I think the cams and a V-AFC would make you very happy.
i've been running shell helix ultra... fully synth, 5w-40 oil.
changed oil every 3000km. i've only owned the car for 15k.
the previous owner was a woman, i think she might have kissed the redline once during the whole time she owned the car
full dealer service history too.
