Default Mechanic for Brakes in Socal Burbank/Hollywood

My brake pedal is soft and I need a good mechanic to take a look, pretty sure the Master Cylinder needs to be replaced. 1994 GSR

Any help would be great

Wouldn't doubt if it were your brake lines that were expanding.

When your at a stop, does your pedal sink down?

I had the same problems as you are stating.

I bought a new MC...still the same (so i returned it)

I then proceeded to get new OEM lines from ACURA. 1 hour later, FIXED!!!

Maybe look into your lines.

Changing brake lines should be a very easy procedure with simple hand tools and the spare tire jack. You shuoldn't have to go under the car, so its ok to work on it on the jack. You will need a friend to bleed them afterwards though, and you might as well do a complete flush while you're at it just for good measure.

HI EVERYONE IM NEW TO THIS FORUM,
BUT ANYWAYS I SUGGEST YOU CHECK YOUR MASTER CYLINDER FOR LEAKS.
THATS MUCH EASIER TO CHANGE. START WITH EASIEST POSSIBLITIES TO FIX FIRST.THEN MOVE TO MORE COMPLEX AREAS. OH AND YOU SHOULD TRY TO
FIX IT YOUR SELF.CUZ BELIEVE ME , THEY RE GOING TO CHARGE YOU AN ARM IN THAT AREA. ITS NOT THAT HARD, GET THE BOOK IT EXPLAINS IT PRETTY GOOD.
MY OPINION DO
PEACE!!!!!!

Might be kind of a drive but imo it's totally worth it..The place is in Buena Park near Knotsberry Farm, called Mastertek..They only work on Honda and their prices are really good. Tell Robert your friends with Ben (the guy in the Burgundy 91 integra)
