black smoke

every now and again, I'll drop a gear and floor her. I've been told i get a poof of black smoke. Anything to worry about? A little oil getting into the cylinders perhaps?

exactly what I was thinking...

If it was oil you would be seeing a white/grayish smoke...no worries man.

I am having the same problem. All the bolt-ons, tuned Hondata, stock interenals. I have that Endyn breather kit that replaces the stock PCV system, I believe, on the back of the block. It has been happening since before the breather though.

I took a look through the threads that ebelp posted. Fuel system/injector cleaner? Running rich due to the tune? I will look into this more in depth over the weekend.
