I just installed a new clutch and just got finished with the break in process. When I push the pedal down it squeaks, its not cable. I have fluid.

It could be your clutch master cylinder. Mine squeaks.

it could also be the return spring on the clutch pedal... mine squeaks

 

mine does... only when i drop it.

i found out what it was. it was my clutch master cylinder.

Yeah...mine too. It's sporadic though. I *think* it goes away after a few minutes of driving. I haven't really paid much attention to it lately, but I would like to get rid of it sometime. Guess I'll have to look at the clutch master cylinder sometime.

 

Check your clutch master cylinder. Look inside your car where the clutch pedal is and see if there are any fluids. From what I know hydro tranny is not suppose to sound like a cable tranny.

 

mine used to squeek really badly....you could hear it w/ the radio on. But that was b4 my new clutch when my pp was bad and uber stiff. Still sqweeks w/ new clutch and pp but its soooooo much quieter....i have to sit in an empty parking lot or garage w/ radio off to hear it
