Well I was just wondering if anyone has ever had their heater control move from hot to cold and vica vera. It didn't only go one direction and this happened to a car I sold a while back. When in mover I switched it back and it did it. Then I moved it the other way and it went the other way and proceded to go back and forth again. It then stopped after that night I seriously think it may have been a ghost.

More then likely your pass carpet or something is moving the needle. Also you could have something stuck in the engine bay pushing it.
