Default NRGCELL battery

how long will you think an nrgcell battery will last in a daily driver? i was thinking about getting one, but i dont want to die on me all the time. its a 93 civic ex with a b16, with a few mods, no big stereo and i am weight concious. any ideas?

I've use lots of them over the years. those batterys only last for like 3 months in a daily driver. if you have a alarm forget about it. only good in a race car with no extra stereo stuff

Sorry, this is incorrect. Not sure if it is personal experience or just an assumption. My Dad has one in his WRX for over 2 years, I have run one in my CRX for almost as long, and I have had very few customers complain about dead batteries....and if they stop holding a charge on you we exchange with a discount for you. They should last as long as any other battery if taken care of (not discharged constantly).

A stereo has nothing to do with the life of the battery. But accessories (like an alarm) that draw current whent he car is off will cause the battery to discharge at a high rate. If the car is driven a few times a week or more, there will be not issues. But if you let the car sit for weeks at a time, the battery will die and if that happens too many times they will stop holding charge.

had one in my coupe for a couple years.no problems.
if you abuse it,it will die-just like any other battery.
