i got his insurance and all that and i'm taking it to a bodyshop. my question is, if anyone knows.. is when they replace my front bumper, do the put in new headlights/foglights/turnsignals/corner lights?

i'd prefer to keep my clear corners and all that. anyone have any past experience?

 

Which generation prelude? 4th or 5th? You should be fine when it comes to lights assuming they are fine. Welcome to HT btw

If you give them some parts you want to have put on - they'll do it.........most definately.......they don't care - as long as they get paid. My bodyshop guy did custom work for me..........he got paid to do it also.

 

thing is, i work for a dealership. we have our own bodyshop. i wanna talk to the guy in charge of it to see if he can hook me up at all. and i guess i can ask him to keep the clear corners and fog lights and all that on it. i'm just pissed now that the perfect paint of my car has been flawed.

 

More than likely with insurance companies these days they will only fix what is broken. if all of your lighting is in good shape, they will more than likely not replace it. Just swap onto new bumper. you should be good.
