Has any one painted these in silver?


I have my winter tires mounted on them.
My car is a black EJ6 hatch, and I just wanted to know how they would look in silver.

 

i've seen them come stock in a silver/metal color. i like steelies better in gloss black. that's what i painted mine.

 

i saw some steelies on an old toyota stationwagon that were black with polished lips i wanted a set

I tried puting a chrome lip on them, but for some reason they don't fit. Hubcaps don't fit these rims either. It's like they're quarter of an inch too small.

Stil looking for pictures with these in silver, or at least the lip painted.

yeah.. theres a cavalier down the block with that setup

 

paint em white n call them RAP mags

 

 

just polish the lip dude....that would look HOT

Hell, just buy some trim rings.

 

ROFL. u haven't seen a stock car without hubcaps before?

 

THe 1996-1998 Civic CX came with silver-painted steelies; I think the 1999-2000s might have, too.

If you read above, you'll see that I've already said that I tried to put the trim rings on, but they didn't fit because the rims have a weird shape.

These are not stock rims, they have a little bit different shape and eight holes for lug-nuts, for two different bolt patterns. I want to see what these look like because they are a little bit bigger, wider and somewhat different shape than stock Honda silver steelies.

As for polishing the lip, these are steel rims, so the polished lip would soon turn into a brown/rusty lip.

I might rock the steelies + trim rings on my xB this winter.

 

That looks nice , but how would it look with the lip painted on?
Those rings do not fit on my rims.
As I've mentioned before, the rim has a weird shape.

 

my stock 14's that came with my 96-00 hatch were silver with some center caps.

 

oh yeah dont cx's come with silver steelies?

 

I'm gonna try to convince my friend to buy some of those trim rings and paint them with that anodized red you buy in a rattle can. He'll have the best winter wheels in town haha.

 

I used to have 13" steelies with the chrome rings. I thought I would do it for a joke then I liked how it looked

"Unique" is the brand, the company that makes those rims
