10" inch sub and amp using 2000 si radio?
ive had a 2000 si radio with cd player for my hatch for while now. does anyone know if i can put a 10' inch sub with amp using the si radio/cd player? some people tell me that i have to have two rca's on the radio and that i have to check the radio to see. i want to retain the si radio/cd player because i like the way it looks and i want that stock look. can anyone help?
Just get a line level converter. the line level converter coverts to a low level signal. Its about 25 dollars and i know bestbuy has them. you can also get them off the internet.

There is a 3rd, [more expensive, but better] solution, find a car audio repair shop that will install a set of pre amp RCA pigtails on the stock HU, I have had this done more then a few times for customers that wanted to keep the stock HU. It has never cost more then $85 parts and labour, I normally supply the pigtail from a trashed aftermarket HU.
