Default whats the widest tire you 5th gen guys have run?

Im looking to run a 225-50-16, with just a prokit drop and a 51 offset wheel.

you guys think it will rub with hard cornering?

There is one possible interference point that you should be aware of. I speak of the verticle link between the hub housing and the upper control arm in the rear suspension (note supplied illustration) (#23)

with a 15x6 alloy 5 spoke SE rim and 215/60x15 Toyo's, I've 1/2" clearence between the tire side wall and the link. I have no interference problems, but fear anything grosely wider could get you into trouble.

You might want to refer to some of the on-line tire/rim vendors (Tire Rack etc) that provide plus sizing programs which may be able to guide your choice, and answer your questions.

yah ditto p-adams, i agree. I think im gonan just go with a 215-55-16, with the new khumo SPT> good reviews, and cheap price.

you could run some 335's you just might have to roll your fenders a little bit

I searched the forums and this is the most recent thread I could find. I have a 97 accord 4 door SE. I have a set of 205/65x15 tires and was wondering if I could safely run on those. TIA. Let me know
