Eggum Racing NDRA Moroso Press Release
Eggum Racing took another 2nd place finish this past weekend at Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach, Florida. Things had been going pretty smoothly over the past four races and sure enough at the NDRA event September 24-25th, it was an anything that can go wrong will, type of weekend. The 95’ heat and humidity made the track extra slick and it took us a couple passes to diagnose our problem of failed injectors. After changing those, we went into the finals against the Team CSI sunfire, both of us leaving with near identical reaction times and couldn’t put the car into 3rd gear, due to a bad syncro. Taking 2nd place was bittersweet after the frustrating weekend, but that’s racing and parts will break.
Now at MSP Motorsports in Frederick, MD, where the Efantis’ are kind enough to give us a place to stay and a shop to work on the car in between events, the Eggum Racing crew is getting ready for the race this weekend at Englishtown Raceway. With a new transmission, alignment and tires, to name a few things, we’re looking forward to some cooler race weather and some solid 8.7xx passes.
Be sure to check out coverage of the NDRA Atco event on Speed channel’s Nopi Tunervision, on tonight at 8pm and 11pm. Our first NDRA event and 2nd place finish in the ProFWD class. I also did a lengthy interview for the Nopi Tunervision Moroso show, this past weekend, which will be on tv Wednesday October 19th at 8 and 11pm as well.
Next Monday, October 3rd, for those with access to Sirius satellite radio, tune into channel 108 for my interview on the Maxim Radio show. I'll be driving to NYC after the Englishtown race to do a live interview on the Rich & Covino show/ Maxim Radio between 1 & 2 PM , Eastern time. Log onto EggumRacing.com to hear the interview after it's broadcast.
