I have a 96 Honda Civic Hatch with a JDM B18C....When I start my car, it revs by itself between 1000 rpm and 2400 rpm....i found out that it was my cold start valve and i ended up tighten it and it worked...but then it got loose again so it does that idling problem again....so i was wondering if i could buy the cold start valve assembly at a junkyard or from someone who has parts all around...thanks

 

Tightening it? How? Were the mounting bolts loose? And I'd recommend not buying one from a junk yard just to have it fail on you in another couple of months. They're readily availble at your local Acura store. Just ask for a fast idle valve for a 95 GSR. I think they're like $60 or so. Low coolant level can cause idle fluctuations from the FIV too.
