Default b20 v-tec in 89 crx

ok i just dropped my trans out of my eg hatch that had my b20 v-tec in it and picked up a 89 crx that was wired with a b18a1 and was wondering what ill need to do to get the wiring to work its a long project i have going now with body needing to be fixed and new engine due to a thrown rod but im hoping to have it done in the end of october if you have any help let me know thanks a bunch

I think what he means is that the car is wired for b-series non-vtec, and he want sto put in a b-series vtec head.

its a b18 non v-tec wiring and basically just want to put a vtec head on it what would i need to do with the wiring to run vtec

I believe it should be one or two wires. I'll look into it.

In the meantime, things like commas, periods, and the occasional semicolon work well to communicate with others.

See Rywire.com. Call us at the # on the website.
If it's wired for a B18a, the wiring you'll need to do for the B20/VTEC swap will be determined in part, by the ECU you choose. PW0 and PR3 if you're staying OBD0. I would recommend an OBD1 conversion using a P28 for tunability.

Now someone's going to tell me tunability isn't a word LOL.
