T3 exhaust flange quesion

hey would this work to fix the crack in my t3 .48/.60 turbo that is cracked. I figured this would cover my crack and the internal wastegate section would go over this bad boy. I would use a little bit longer studs on my exhaust housing and loosin up the internal WG as much as I could to try and stop boost creep......thanx guys just let me know if this would work or if I am stupid.
