Default a delimma about what to do skunk2 manifold or cf hood, p72 or p28?!?!?

ok i have to decision problems. car is pretty much stock with plans for all motor

pretend im getting the manifold(used) for free
1)install skunk2 intake manifold on my gsr, sell my injen cai(which I bought brand new), get an ITR intake
2)trade skunk2 manifold for a fiber image cf hood(used) and keep the cai and just continue with the bolt ons

if I DO install the manifold should I the stock p72 or chipped p28? i heard p28 but i dont understand how a SOHC ecu will perform better than a DOHC ecu.

and whats the ecu code for dohc vtec del sol? i heard those are good

IM isnt going to give you much difference. Why would you sell the CIA and get an ITR one again?

Do what you want Want looks, or slight power increase.

because a GSR intake wont fit the skunk2 intake manifold

i rather go with power/speed but I've read that a skunk2 im with nothing will make me lose torque in the low end and im a daily driver... the reason im thinking of trading for the cf hood is because it is worth more and if i sell me cai and buy another intake i need to spend more money. plus money for gaskets and **** to install the im. i dont know ..

You're right, you will lose noticable power in the low end witht the Junk2 IM. You don't have to run a chipped P28, it can be one of several chipped modifed ecu's (P05, P06, P61 etc.). The main reason for doing this in your case would be to change the VTEC point to one that is more suitable for that IM. Also to maximize any other modifications you may make, like a higher fuel cut off if you have better valve springs/cams, and upgraded fuel/timing maps. As to what to get first you need to decide that. You wanna look better or go faster?
