civic si REAR SPEAKER SIZE?

Default civic si REAR SPEAKER SIZE?

On a 2000 civic si what are the size of the speakers in the rear deck????

i idid and it says 6 1/2's will fit and 6x9's so im confused........

6 x 9. I changed mine out and that was the size. Takes a while to change them tho.

6X9 is probably standard (what's in there). But you can probably get an adapter plate to fit some 6 1/2's.


And what cambopheonix56 said, this could take a while. - I did my 2001 civic and had to take the entire rear interior of the car out

look inside trunk and unbolt the the speaker cover so you can see the speaker size.

6x9's are in the back. I think 6 1/2's are the size of the fronts.

And you can fit a 6.5 in a 6x9 hole.

its a bitch.. unless you got some top of the line speakers, i would leave the stock ones in.

ah, its not that bad. just make sure your a patient person.. otherwise you might just well put your screwdriver through one of the speakers in anger.. heh :X

I think all 96-00 civics that came with factory sound system had 6x9 in the rear, my 4 door does for sure

So do the hatches and coupes.

Yes, theyre a PITA to change out.
