Hello everyone.. i know that we are all true fanatics of the Honda CRX, for all generations.... and i know that i'd really really really like to see a new model come out, and would possibly even buy a new one. There has been a lot of hype for the past forever in the talks that a new crx would come out. personally, if there IS a new crx, i would want it to follow the design cues of the original CRX as shown in this picture:

(the picture has been modified as i'm going to fax it to honda motors)



now i'm not sure if honda even WILL create a new CRX or it will come anywhere close to this design representation, but i know that i DO want a new CRX... to bring something back for all us fans... so if you're interested, here's honda motors contact website.

sounds good! keep the ideas going sorry its a bad day at work... i need to think outside the box... a 2.4l b00sted 2200lbs crx is just the kind of dream i need to get through this day!

 

I'm pretty sure that they'd probably create one that resembles the new Si or even the hybrid.

 

Okay, I've got two images that I designed three years ago of what I think the new CRX should look like (they look a little old now) but I can't upload them. I don't have them linked anywhere so I can't upload them, if that makes sense. Someone help me out please.

I think they should go retro like ford and chevy. Think about it for a minute. A modern version of the mid 70's CVCC that weighs 1800lbs and has a K20R. muahahaha....... I wanna work for honda.

I'm with you Bart! And I really don't like Honda's, but I have collect 3.25 CRX's

 

I will wish for a new CRX, but I know it won't happen. The insurance will be insane and Honda won't be able sell nearly enough to make a profit (at least in the US due to insurance and safety standards). As much as we all want it back, we can only assume Honda can not justify having 3 models with mediocre or low yearly sales (NSX, S2000) compared to the Civic, Integra, and Accord (the bread and butter of the company).

I will support the initiative with the understanding that we have about a 1/1,000,000 chance. Good luck!
