Default H and F series trannys interchageabilty?

I've read that H and F tranny can be interchaged...that's not what I need to know.....since I've only delt with D's and B's before(brothers), what modifications, if any, are needed to drop a different F or H tranny in place of a F23 Accord(1998)? Is the linkage all the same? What about the electronics(speed sensor, etc?) Thanks.
