Do you know how much lighter it is than stock? Just wondering 'cuz it looks like the bottom half is still stock, which makes me wonder if the weight loss is worth the money for just the top part.

On a side note, does anyone know, if I bought the trunk and lights from a 96-97, if it would fit my 94? Just curious.

That should give you ATLEAST .9 seconds off your 1/4mile and .6 seconds off your 0-60 with all that weight loss!

EDIT: and leave the decals on! +12 hp!

It is a big difference in weight, i can lift the cf trunk lid with one hand, the oem trunk you need 2. The sticker did not come with the trunk they are from http://www.customcarbonconcepts.com he make custom cf parts for 5th gen accords check him out. The stickers are coming off!!! And going in this cf spark plug cover he made for my H22

I hope you didnt pay too much for that trunk lid man, the panel gaps are pretty shocking!

I would have expected a better fit from one of customcarbonsconcepts products....

Revolution Autoworks sells them for 500-600, you can email Indey at RevAutoIndey@hotmail.com or on AIM: RevAutoIndey, but if you buy from him on http://www.hondafactor.com/hf/...=1169 you get them for $400 picked up / $525 shipped (ca add tax).

I just don't get it. What do you hope to gain by having a lightweight trunk lid? For it to be worth $400 plus, it had better be a lot. What? Because it supposedly looks good? Or is it something else I'm missing here? Do you have a bump on your head, from a fall or something?

OK im lost here. I use to own a 94-95 and the whole trunk area including the plate area was the trunk lid. If thats a CF trunk why is only the top half CF? Am I blind or is that top half the only part that open on a 96-97. I was assuming the plate area was the trunk lid too.

Yeah, its gotta be laid over the stock METAL trunk, in which case there is no point.
