Bigger Radiator Question???????????????????
ok heres the question
someone told me that when u install a bigger rad into like a gsr depending on the cap you use or whatnot that the computer thinks all the time that the car is still warming up and the car will not engage into vtec.
so will vtec not work because the ecu thinks the car is still warming up or what ?
would it affect it at all because the cooling temp is lower than stock now and the ecu is looking for that certain temp ????

The cap controls pressure; or more accurately LIMITS pressure. That only indirectly controls temperature.
The thermostat controls temperature directly. If you have the right thermostat, your engine will warm up correctly. If your ECT sensor is working correctly, then your ECU will know when it's warmed up.
