Need help with intermediate shaft and DSS axles
I have a 89 CRX with a 93 B18a1 swap and I'm tryin to put together a race car. I bought a set of Driveshaft Shop axles a while back from a h-t member, and finally got around to putting them in the other day. But I pulled out both axles and broke the intermediate shaft loose from the drivers axle, and the drivers axle has a female end where the inter. shaft plugs in. Both my DSS axles are males.
My question is, is there any way to take the intermediate shaft apart to allow a male connection? I've included some pics as reference in hopes someone can help me out.
My stock axles (yeah i know they're rusty, I left them out in the rain):

My DSS axles:

My intermediate shaft:

Also, I looked on the DSS website and none of the axles they sell look like these (fat in the middle). Did I get screwed over by the seller? Please let me know. Thanks H-T

I agree with that.

So these are actually DSS axles? Cause I looked on the website and none of them looked like this, I thought I got ripped off.
Are you saying to send them my axle and they will replace the end piece with a female end? Cant I do this myself? I bought the axles from an individual so I have no paperwork for them.

you can also use a 90-93 integra halfshaft, which is a female halfshaft.

They look like DSS axles, just the older type . I remember a year or two ago they looked like that. Not sure what stage that would have been but i am sure if you call they can help you.
those are stg 2 or stg3 axles from DSS with the tubular center shaft. its older design but still dSS for sure
the newer ones did away with that tubular design

Thanks guys thats what I wanted to hear. Just wanted to make sure I didnt get ripped off since I couldn't find any pics of the DSS axles that look like mine. Now I'm off to the classifieds to find a 90-93 I-shaft.

no they dont... im not sure how it works as far as which axles have them and which dont... but it really doesnt matter if they are there or not... unless of course u have abs and need them...
and use a 90-93 halfshaft... the axles should go in no problem
